What we must understand is that things, in times of tragedy, often become very hazy. Our actions will fade from our memory and rarely will we remember what it is we’ve done. We all do, what must be done in the given circumstances. There is nothing we can do to control what must be done. Everything we’ve done will, in the end, justify the means we took, no matter how extreme. We’ve been told to never look back at what was done during these times. These were bad times, and what was done was done out of necessity. There is one more truth that we must all understand.
