Let the flames begin.

Recently The Black Eyed Peas were sued for copyright infringement for lifting a portion of Bryan Pringle’s – Take a Dive for their massive hit single “I Gotta Feeling”. Now there’s a new scandal brewing, this time from Deadmau5. This one’s a bit more subtle, but you can tell similarities from Deadmau5’s remix of Medina’s You & I and the new BEP single The Time (Dirty Bit).  Take a listen for yourself and decide if this one is as legitimate.

Also, check out further down below Deadmau5 recreating the main synth lead from BEP – The Time (Dirty Bit) using his own samples on his workstation. At the end of the video, he somewhat jokingly cautions his own actions as the The Black Eyed Peas probably have a crack team about to drop claims of lifting on him.

For extra bonus, from what 2010 music video did The Black Eyed Peas lift the opening and closing 3d animation from for The Time music video? Answer way down below.

Bonus Answer: Check out Dirty South ft. Rudy – Phazing for the full 3d space ride effect. Strikingly similar to The Time, no?
