Last November, Young Buck turned himself into police custody after Police had sought him in connection with the stabbing at the Vibe Awards. Police identified Young Buck as one of three people seen holding knives after LA citizen Jimmy James Johnson went up to Dr. Dre and punched him several times during the Vibe Awards show.
He was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked in Santa Monica and released on $500,000 bail.
On Monday, Superior Court Judge James Dabney found sufficient evidence to try Young Buck. He was ordered to stand trial for the assault and is scheduled to be arraigned today.
In an E! Online report, Defense attorney Leonard Levine said "We're confident when all the facts comes out in this case, Young Buck will be exonerated."
