Well, who would’ve thought? Out of the barren landscape of January comes a movie that may actually be worth our while. Big-budget popcorn adventure, The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chou and directed by Michel Gondry, is the new action comedy based on the old-time radio show about an unlikely vigilante.

Despite expectations about the new flick hitting rock-bottom, according to a review by NY Daily News, “it turns out Michel Gondry has crafted an irreverently funny, ultramodern take on the 1930s radio serial, with vibe so casual you half expect star Seth Rogen to amble off screen and put his feet up on the seat next to you.”

The Green Hornet hits theaters tonight. Tell us what you think!
