Wake up! If you haven't heard of Creamfield's, then read about it now. It's the largest UK Dance festival ever, and it happened 8/25/2001.

Saturday, August 25th was a memorable day for electronic music fans. Creamfields UK held the festival at the Old Liverpool Airfield, Speke Road, Liverpool, and they threw in a swimming pool! (I think that's a first...)

Creamfields had eight arenas hosted by Cream, including Cream US, House Arena, The Boutique, Bugged Out, Metalheadz, Global Underground, Serious and The Radio 1 outdoor stage.

The headline acts included Fatboy Slim, Gorillaz, Stereo MC's and Avalanches. Other artists who appeared include Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk, Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules, Timo Maas, David Morales, & many more.

In a related story, all Creamfields US feativals were cancelled due to poor planning and marketing. Sometimes I wish I could live in Europe.
