The MSN Music service, located at or via Windows Media Player 10, is primarily a digital download platform that provides access to the latest releases and back catalogs from every major label.

Currently MSN Music offers more than 1 million titles across 20 genres from over 3,000 labels. Digging into their catalog, you'll find releases from Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, Faithless, Timo Maas, The Chemical Brothers and Felix Da Housecat. Most downloads from MSN Music are available for $.99 per track or $9.99 per album downloaded.

MSN Music is currently offering a promotion to all current and potential members of their service. Purchase one song on the service and get five free downloads to use as you will. You can also send the promotion to your friends so they can try out the service and get five free songs too.

All you have to do is sign in to your existing MSN Music account or create an account if you don't already have one, choose and purchase any song you want, and the five free songs will instantly be credited to your account for use. The promotion ends July 10th 2005 and your free download credits must be used by September 30, 2005, so you have plenty of time to browse around for what you're looking for.
