The Greek goddess of the Dance airwaves, Anna Vissi, has released two albums featuring remixes of her pop-hit 'Call Me' including the Lee Cabrera and Chris Cox remixes. Full details, samples and digital downloads right here.
In her adopted homeland of Greece, Anna Vissi, who was born on the island of Cyprus, is more than just a pop music icon. Her fans refer to her, simply, as "The Goddess." The title is in tribute to Vissi’s remarkable reign as Greece's most popular musical export, someone that has taken great risks to move beyond the native sounds of her country to reach out to the rest of the western world.
"Call Me", released by Vanilla/Moda Records, is Vissi's first true foray into the U.S. music market, though she previously recorded an English album, Everything I Am, in 2000, produced by Brian Rawlings (Cher's "Believe," Enrique Iglesias), Ric Wake (Celine Dion) and Peter Asher (Linda Ronstadt) for Sony Music, her longtime label in Greece.
Support for "Call Me" is strong in the US with airplay from WDRE and WKTU in New York, WPYM in Miami as well as XM and Sirius satellite radio.
