Christopher Walken's dancing (and flying) skills proved too great to be ignored as the video, directed by Spike Jonze, was nominated for best clip in the pop, modern rock, and dance categories. The video was also nominated for the Maximum Vision Award, given to the video that best advances and artist's career.

The video for "Weapon of Choice" stars Christopher Walken doing a light-footed dance number in a Hollywood hotel. The song is taken from the album, HALFWAY BETWEEN THE GUTTER AND THE STARS and also features vocals from Bootsy Collins of Parliament-Funkadelic fame.

"Weapon of Choice" received nine MTV Video Music Award nominations - more than any other artist this year including the coveted "Video of the Year" nomination.

Also of note, Daft Punk's "One More Time" video was nominated for the Best Dance Clip.
