Perhaps his greatest single to date, Pjanoo gets the star treatment.

The 2008 Eric Prydz single Pjanoo has been spun around the circuit and featured on many mix cds for what seems like ages. Well, months really, but in our fast-moving world of electronic releases even a week seems like a long time. It was playlisted at Radio 1, Kiss, Capital and Galaxy over 2 months before release, and received acclaim via Pete Tong's Essential New Tune, Zane Lowe's Single Of The Week and Record Of The Week for Jo Whiley.

Data records will deliver a proper single release digitally on August 24 and in shops on September 1. The first 12" single features the original club mix and remixes by Fred Falke and Guy J (which is absolutely fantastic). The track features a curiously familiar synth-lead that keeps you humming well after the end. We can't quite put our finger on where we've heard this line before but it is definitely familiar and we'll track it down. Check out the seemingly unrelated rain-dance/western music video oddity below, maybe I'm just hearing things.
