DJ AM Dead from Overdose
Drugs kill the unbreakable.
DJ AM, the super-hero DJ that survived a plane crash
with Travis Barker, was found dead today. His body was discovered in a New York apartment and a drug-overdose is believed to be the cause of his death. DJ AM, his real name Adam Goldstein, was 36 years old.
Police responded to a call from a friend who had not heard from DJ AM for days. They found prescription drugs and a crack pipe inside his home at 210 Lafayette St. He was declared dead on arrival.
Adam Goldstein was an ex-member of Town and had been working with Travis Barker as well as an MTV show about drug addiction.
His last twitter post was: "New York, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain't always what it seems."
