The Black Eyed Peas have confirmed they will join other major acts for the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLV halftime show. Other performers include Prince, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, the Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, The Who and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

TBEP and the other superstars will put on a show during the Super Bowl XLV halftime show via Fox TV network.  Super Bowl XLV will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Feb. 6. The announcement was made by the NFL during the Saints / Cowboys game on Thanksgiving.

TBEP's new album, The Beginning, is released on Tuesday November 30 via Interscope Records. The album includes the hit new single The Time(Dirty Bit), which they performed at the recent American Music Awards.

Back in October, TBEP were sued on two separate counts of copyright infringement. The songs involved in the suits are two internationally acclaimed hit songs that brought the Black Eyed Peas extraordinary profits and iconic success: "I Gotta Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow."
