No wardrobe malfunction.
The Black Eyed Peas are ready to rock the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday. And Fergie, the first women featured in a halftime show since Janet Jackson, promises no "wardrobe malfunction." Sorry guys.
So, what songs can we expect to hear? Well, the Peas, like the Steelers and the Packers, are protecting their Super Bowl playbooks. "We're not allowed to give away the set list, but it will be packed with energy — what the Black Eyed Peas bring," said Fergie. "We want everybody to have a good time and just dance, party," band member Will.i.am said about the performance, which is expected to include R&B star Usher and former Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash.
The Peas are excited and honored to give the halftime performance. "Being here in Dallas, playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl, it seems so surreal," said Will.i.am."I remember as a kid, watching the halftime shows, watching Super Bowls. It's a dream come true as a football lover."
Super Bowl XLV will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers, and will air this Sunday at 6:30pm on FOX. Keith Urban and Maroon 5 will be performing during the pregame festivities. Christina Aguilera is set to sing the national anthem and Lea Michele of "Glee" will sing "America the Beautiful."
