M3 merges modern music, technology, fashion, and multimedia art as an integrated lifestyle. Part music festival part industry confab, M3 is the newest and most exciting addition to a week of long-standing annual events in Miami Beach traditionally dedicated to dance and electronic music. M3 expands on this theme by bringing together artists, producers, entertainment and advertising industry executives, media leaders and forward-thinking consumers to celebrate the future of music, technology, film, fashion, art and multimedia. Launched in 2004, M3's diverse mix of cutting edge art and entertainment and high-level business exchanges has been heralded as the essential nexus for industry professionals and fans in attending what has come to be known as conference week.

M3 2005 will be held at two venues situated on the same block in Miami Beach: the M3 Sunset Sessions, which feature a nightly line-up of live music, will return to the Doubletree Surfcomber Hotel (1717 Collins Ave.), where nightly showcases will be presented on the beach behind the hotel March 24-26. Panels, keynote presentations, DJ showcases and networking cocktail parties will take place at the Raleigh Hotel (1775 Collins Ave.,), along with the M3 Opening Night celebration.

Following the success of M3 last year, Motorola returns as an A-list collaborating partner for 2005. This year the mobile communications leader will introduce new and exciting mobile-music products that will enable music lovers to download, playback, and store their favorite music on-the-go. In addition, Motorola is excited to lead the M3 mobile music panel discussion, showcase groundbreaking mobile-music installations, and present a live showcase of exciting new talent in the Motorola Sunset Session.

M3 is also pleased to welcome Cirque du Soleil, WIRED magazine and Sirius Satellite Radio as corporate partners for 2005. Other M3 media partners for 2005 include Spin, XLR8R, Urb, Remix, BPM and Res. Additional collaborators include Buzzin' Fly Records and Giant Step.

Cirque du Soleil will use M3 to introduce Solarium / Delirium, a 2-CD set that commemorates Cirque du Soleil's twenty years of creative excellence. The release, set for April, marks a new direction for Cirque du Soleil Musique, as this is the first time Cirque has collaborated with producers from the world of dance music. Solarium / Delirium features remixes by Ibizarre, A Man Called Adam, Chilluminati, Fenomenon, Cottonbelly, Thievery Corporation and Banzai Republic among others. Its upbeat counterpart, Delirium, features Louie Vega, Julien Jabre, Roger Sanchez, Francois K / Eric Kupper, Sasha, Quicksound / Alain Vinet, Jori Hulkkonen, Carmen Rizzo, and Tiesto. The first single, "Kumbalawe," remixed by Roger Sanchez, is currently Top Ten on the Billboard Dance Chart.
