Since 2000, Above & Beyond (Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki) have sparked a creativity few could replicate. Their most famous remixes include Chakra's club classic "Home", Aurora "Ordinary World", Fragma "Everytime", Armin's Perpetuous Dreamer "The Sound Of Goodbye" and Adamski "In The City" and Madonna's single 'What It Feels Like For A Girl'. As their prowess evolved, they were able to work on additional projects within their Anjunabeat label such as OceanLab (Above & Beyond plus Justine Suissa), Tranquillity Base, Tongue of God and Rollerball (Above & Beyond in disguise) plus side projects like Aalto, Freestate, Nitromethane and POS.

May 2006 saw the release of A&B's first artist album "Tri-State". This jewel of an album extends Trance to new levels of intelligence. Says Jono, Weve spent the last five years making singles for clubs, so its been a very liberating process making an album," says Jono. "It's electronic music but were giving people something raw and real - what you're getting is just the three of us with our vocalists. Our fans may recognise the roots of a lot of the styles on the album in what we've done before, both in remixes and our Essential Mix - we've always had broad musical tastes. But it'll still be surprising to a lot of people."
