Ive been producing whenever i get the urge, so on and off, for two years with just a Yamaha PSR-E403 and Sony acid pro. I wouldn't like to pin myself to any particular genre because i listen to so many very different ones. At the moment however if i was going to pick a track to listen to it would be some sort of uplifting trance track. I recently started DJing as well and use 2 CDJ-400s and a DJM-700S.
