Hotter Than The Fire (Radio Edit) by Gerald The Genius |
| The beatz are hot!!! its got club banging vibes and energy to satisfy. Good production, and synths are pretty clear and clean. Not much on emotion or melody side but not needed when all this is intended for is anyone who wants to party it up. Massive Track! reviewed on: 2012-05-22 00:43:49 |
| (response from artist) Good lookin out! This one here is def a club banger indeed. Attempted to go extra hard so i could bust a few speakers wide open. Thanks for the rev! |
Birth of Live by Particle-X |
| Atmosphere is what describes this track the best~ lush background sounds are what really move this track along with its driving beat. When pulling of songs of such length there needs to be more to offer without that repetitious feel and just atmospheres, there needs to be driving build ups and really emotional breakdowns that surprise the listener to really WANT to hear whats next and capture it! reviewed on: 2012-05-02 16:08:34 |
| (response from artist) Hey thanks for the review but i dont share your thoughts about how to build a track. I think its just too subjective. I like the way this is build and like the track gots its own flow and gives me a trancy feeling just because there are repeating patterns involved. I know it aint no mainstream but i still enjoyed making it and listening to this. Thanks for the rate and the words. |
Red Sky (Banging Mix) by Project Soul |
| The lead sounds a bit better, the main synth melody is still drowned out though (4.55). Careful when mixing multiple sounds together the amount of layering synths is quite good just more sounds u play with at same time becomes harder to mix correctly. I would prefer you to try and improve on the previous song deus moons i see more potential in that track. Btw almost all my sound come from sylenth1 as well including the synth sound i recommended to you~ reviewed on: 2012-04-25 01:58:37 |
| (response from artist) your file helped me thanks for that, okey then if u see potential in deus moons, then i will go and try to improve that tune. |
PPB - Outside Space by Raphaël |
| PPB the elements are there, its definitively more clear sounding, but about the track overall to me i just hear a bunch of rolling along arping synths. You've improved the track a lot from what it originally was. I think its time to put this one to rest and try something new based on the knowledge you now know. I feel like the only reason i keep coming back to this site is because you are on it, but i think my time here is done. i'm at a point in life where i don't have a need to share music among other producers... u have my e-mail keep in touch through that, iDJ is better off without me anyway. Good luck on your future productions~ remember take your time crafting each track to perfection and never rush through Quality is better than quantity of tracks. reviewed on: 2012-04-17 13:40:40 |
| (response from artist) Thanks man, i promise you to do my best, i will try to evolve the best way i can. |
End Of Time (Arthur D Bootleg Mix) by Beyonce |
| The track has been produced with really great clarity. Vocals in this mix have been used really well with all the effects. The only let down is the main lead, it needs to be more phat and crisp... and it was used almost throughout the whole track. To really grab a listener create a bigger build in the breakdown and bring the main lead back phat in your face with longer sustain and then sidechain compress the lead against the kick in the main part reaching a climax with a better melody. The filter settings on that are pretty simple too, try to have more of a tougher pluck sound when the LP filter is lowering. Your beat work the the percussions, kick and bass are awesome work. reviewed on: 2012-04-16 12:40:47 |
| (response from artist) hmm? i didn\'t use any plucking sounds in this krys...also i don\'t like making really long builds on vocal tracks. my objective was to get people to sing and then dance. longer sustain? tried it and it just didn\'t sound good to me. i prefer stabs. i wanted to stab them with this track. :-) |
Space Journey by DJ Prosecutor |
| Not bad, the kick really brings this track down , it such an outdated sounding kick and some synths sounds need a bit of update, great effects throughout the track and attention grabbing builds. I would really like to hear some phatter bass sounds to really give this track more energy to match the the synths and more emotion in the melodic lines reviewed on: 2012-04-16 06:21:29 |
| (response from artist) I appreciate your words... I\'ll do my best to make the future tracks better... Thanks!!! |
VIBE-RATOR by samrat |
| The track overall is phat! good bass with dirty sounds over a solid beat and percussion. Transitions and variations are great, don't know much about electro house but i'd say it was pretty enjoyable reviewed on: 2012-04-16 06:00:31 |
| (response from artist) Thank u very much & az far az not knowing enough bout Electro house ..well that makez 2 of uz now...:)...Regards. |

Red Sky (Banging Mix) by Project Soul |
| Red Sky is another great track, really nice uplifting trance with strong melodies and a timed structure. When you start to analyze the fine details it begins to become harder to see the true quality of a track in 128kb/s so i'm not sure if i may be wrong but the main synth after 5 mins is quite hard to distinguish between the other blended synths. This is the main melody and overall center of attention in the climax of the track i would like to hear more focus on that synth instead of drowned out by the chorded leads behind them. What may help is a shorter release time on the chorded leads with a stronger attack. This will allow that background synth to be heard but not overpower the track with a long sustained time. It's great to see more complex layered basslines, to take it to the next level you have to filter them for more effects in multi-layered uplifting basslines. reviewed on: 2012-04-15 16:19:19 |
| (response from artist) yeah thanks for review, am working on a chord lead as wee speak right now. `ill notice you when ill fix it, ;) |
PPB - Outside Space (Revised) by Raphaël |
| It is sounding a lot better and most importantly a lot more cleaner allowing me to hear the melodies. Going to give away one of my secret here, but to have ultimate control and clarity i add a limiter that controls the amount of delay and reverb based on the output volume of the main synth. It keeps the synth dry up front when it is at full volume and adds delay and reverb as the main output fades. This is fully adjustable and controllable allowing maximum clarity over you main synth sounds. It's actually the same concept as the sidechain compression effect i was taking about from the synths ducking the kick sound, only now the effects are ducking their volume for the dry original synth sounds. reviewed on: 2012-04-15 05:12:45 |
| (response from artist) thanks for the review i just added an instrument will update now...i will take advantage of your review the next time i work on the track ! |
