Everlast Horizon by morningstar |
| that crunchy bassline is cool. and finally a sampled voice that fits and isnt overdone!! sometimes simplicity is what makes a song, actually that is most of the time. the groove is real smooth, i cannot find anything to complain about. GJ reviewed on: 2004-10-20 22:05:54 |
Rock Your Body by ZXX |
| sick sick synth! and of course the rhythm be good, but like everyone else mastering, at least what i can tell is the kick, sounds a lil too compressed/eq`ued. i know the feeling, if u need some new kicks that dont require a ton of effects to thump, pm me. the title is perfect for it, ANTHEM style, gj reviewed on: 2004-10-19 19:29:04 |
| (response from artist) This song is gonna bang out when i release the original version (that is if i can finish it) |
The Wah-Wah Kid - Turn On, Tune In, Break Out (Original Mix) by Twelve |
| those pads are real refreshing, just nice and relaxing, and the rhytm samples are crisp as hell, the wooden/bongo sound is crisp as ever, adding a great rhythmic feeling. Not sure if i like the one note bass, i can understand the reasoning, but i dunno. and the effects are quite nice a timed perfectly. the new synth that creeps in around 2:30, IMO sounds a lil cheesy. maybe a bell synth or something. overall nice deep house track reviewed on: 2004-10-19 19:19:39 |
Xterna -- (Untitled) by Joey Waters |
| the melody really hooks me in, but this melody also hooked me in Andy hunters - Go(antillas remix). if u havnt heard itm then u and antillas think alike, if u have heard it, then i would rename the tune, because the arp is the same rhythm as well, my only reason for givin you then nine, and maybe some mastering issues and volumes controls reviewed on: 2004-10-16 14:19:02 |
Nothing But You (Remix) by Dj G-licious |
| i love the arp intro, really smooth. but i will agree with the others of the simplicity, but im sure if your like me u just kinda added whatever until you heard a complaint about it, if that makes sense, the vocals where crisp, but in a remix, sometimes u wanna change them around if you are goin to use them, which is incredibly tough, with timing and what nought. with remixes, i believe,IMo should be ver original and use the melody in very different ways. a truly accurate example, blank and jones stars shine bright, the remix sam sharp did. but nonetheless, a nice choon, the gripes are fixable! :) reviewed on: 2004-10-12 14:53:06 |
Adagio For Strings - DJ GeRmAn by DJ GeRmAn |
| ouuu man, extremely midi sounding/cheesy. u may have too switch some sounds around on that one, and the counter melody which is the fastest one, doesnt fit too well with it. remixing that track is kinda difficult. I wish that best of luck! reviewed on: 2004-10-04 19:34:38 |
| (response from artist) Midi sounding ? I'm suprised you said that, as I think this doesn't sound anywhere near midi. So far everyone loves my strings etc, your the first who doesn't like them let alone thinks their too midi :P hehe well thats ur opinion |
Place Called Earth (Remix) by Dj G-licious |
| very nice song, i like the mastered kick. the synths are crisp and nice, and the melody is very sweet, even if its a remix. i like the flangered bass, or it could be phaser, i dunno. u have good mastering skills since FL is pretty hard to balance. NJ reviewed on: 2004-10-02 15:12:39 |

Nemesis by Sanius |
| hahah word tell him!!!!! and he gets mad at me for reviewin his songs bad!! hypocrit jeff can be, the intro reminded me of the movie "legends" with that voice-like pad. the metal flanged thingy backin it up is pretty nifty, adds to the element of creepy with the song, def bein tha hardcore thing. ppl have to realize when ratin a song, the genre u are tryin to make and the guidlines you have to use while reviewin the track. i like the snatch samples for nemesis, great movie! but i agree with adrenaline, maybe the kick could use some punch to give it that hardcore edge!!!! i realy like that intro though, it clips though at 10 seconds. anyways, nice hardcore track reviewed on: 2004-09-21 20:11:10 |
| (response from artist) Thnx man, this is the kind of reaction I want from all of you :p |
Facing Worlds by Vast Vision |
| pretty standard trance track here. i didnt like the beginning sounds, sounded alittle cheesy, i somewhat like the main lead after the break, but the melo was so-so, IMO it was like the track went around in circles, i didnt lead me anywhere, now as far as the mastering goes, it was superb, you have that down to a science! maybe some effects will spice it up a bit reviewed on: 2004-09-21 12:07:18 |
| (response from artist) FX and stuff need to be added anyway..tnx for the feedback |
