You guys only wish you were as boom as Erwin! This song rocks brother. I will say it loses a little building and identity with the softer synth around the 1;20 mark, but you make up for it at the 2min mark and on.

This was a little bit of Ska and a little less DNB. The repetitive vocals killed it for me and then when the sax came in I was a little off. The DNB era had HUGE sounds of bass that overpowered everything other than the drum programming.

(response from artist) Ya Its slower than dnb, I didn't know what to call it (I was going with easy dnb?). The vocals are repetitive for sure, thats the downside of piecing together rap acapella sample packs; I would LOVE to get some real people recording real vocals. I really appreciate you letting your opinion be known, thats the kind of input that helps me make better music. Thank You

Wow brother, progressive house. This is a killer song, my friend. It's been a while that i've listened to a song and heard such work put into the transitions and builds. You don't just slap an fx or a loud noise to move into your next element. You really did give this some TLC. Great song sir.

Chumbawamba Tubthumpin (murdur paradigm remix) by murdurparadigm
Well, I like that you tackled the remix of one of my favorite drinking/party songs. To start with the kick you use is pretty stock Fl and just won't fly in a club. Outside of the kick I really liked the flow of the song. You've got a decent, but dated sounding synth lead. The progressions and transitions are solid and made it a fun listen. I'd really reconsider using a different kick with a more clubby and punchy sound.

(response from artist) Your absolutelly right on everything. My friend challenged me to do Chumbawamba and he was joking. I wasnt so I dove in. FL8 has that kick by default and even though I have 1000s of kicks this still sounded the best for some reason. The others either were to short, too boomy, or too hard. Im sure I could have layered but I didnt feel like slowing down my flow. As for the synth sounding dated, I kinda know what you mean. I am getting into the new electro stuff and really like what C-Rok is doing on here. Thats the sound I am looking for. Not sure how to program that yet. The synths were all Thors. Hope that helps. Thanks for an honest review!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Cups (Bearded Electro Remix) by
Axis, joke or not, this track is PERFECT for a party. DAMN I love the electro bassline here. I haven't been to a club in 2 months and this makes me want to hit one up on the way home. The vocals and playful nature of this song make it a huge hit.

(response from artist) Haha, I'm thinking of another electro-house joke track soon, mind this space! Thanks!

axisONE - Sincerely (Sonaris Remix ft. dJessa) by Sonaris
This song is HELLA sexy! I'm going to listen to the original after this, but I love this remix. That girl is a perfect blend of sexy, breathy and hot. The transitions from driving kick and melody to your first break and the single note lead with a more square synth is a nice move. A great job on the mastering. I will assume Axis version is trance, but this is definitely right up my genre. Man the lead out is nice too. Great song, going to listen to the original right now.

(response from artist) Thanks, Zach. I am glad you enjoyed this. DJessa definitely brought some awesome flavor to this remix with her vocals. Thanks for the comments, always enjoy hearing your input.

Drunken Beats by Allen Groove
Although minimal in nature, this is a fun track. I'd really like to hear a bassline with more umph. Your use of percs and fx is really rich. Your first break and rebuild after made this a fun trip to go along with. It really reminds me of the days I spend at raves where guys would mix songs live paying attention to the crowd and less about spinning as many records as they could. Nice song.

Michael Colucci - Hidden Note (Sonaris Remix) by Sonaris
I LOVE the bassline. Strong and in your face. Something about the kick just doesn't do it for me. It really seems to overpower the song, but isn't quite the right kick for the collective. Definitely a great trance lead. I'd like to hear a few more breaks to give this song a breath. It starts to drone on a bit too much and gets a little repetitive.

(response from artist) Interesting thoughts. I hear you on the kick, I chose a pretty hard one for this as a counter to the soft melody, and a complement to the bassline. Perhaps I made it a bit too prevalent. As for breaks, I thought about putting an instrumental break in the middle, but I always do that, so I decided to just keep a constant energy flow through the whole track. I value your input, thanks for checking it out and dropping a line.
