| Okay I wasn't even gonna review this song but just listen to it while i checked my email but damn son!!! When it dropped into the main groove I had to say sumin!!! The main groove is very well thought out. Nicely essence of all the elements from the intro sidechained to a odd yet smooth kick. I wasn't too big o a fan of the intro but never the less 1:58 plus is the Shiz!! Keep'em comin. reviewed on: 2013-04-17 00:55:41 |

Sunset Beach by Jack Blakeston |
| Cool guitar melody!! Could use a bit of reverb and stereo adjustment so it doesn't sound so mono. Lead flows with this song greatly!! Pad holds the track together like musical super glue just as it should in a dnb jam. Drums are nice. Particularly not punchy enough to my personal liking. In any song top notch song the kick is the foundation and should be heard among all other sounds in the mix. Well that's what the pros say atleast. And the snare seems to be louder than the kick when it should be the other way around. Bass is right on point!!! No probs there for me. It's hard and smooth at the same time jus the way i like'em in my dnb tracks. In general this is AMAZING for a first track. Seriously! My first tracks sounded like straight up BOO BOO!! Lol. All i can really hear is mix/mastering problems and that is def a great start for any edm musician. Keep up the good work!!! reviewed on: 2013-04-17 00:47:40 |

| Lovely piano to start! Very climactic trouse jam! Build up is pretty epic. There are a few minor note clashes in between the piano and the and pad. But never the less that piano melody is lovely especially when it's along side those strings. I was waiting for a more intense bline groove but I can dig it!! See you tried to go epic here and i believe the mission has been accomplished. reviewed on: 2013-04-17 00:29:54 |

Day Trip - Deep Funky House Mix by SoundProoF |
| Dig the swing on the kick and bubbly percussion. Reminds me of the Dogs On Acid crew. Mad/sudden variations but they all fit smoothly somehow. Nicely done! reviewed on: 2013-04-17 00:23:41 |
| (response from artist) Thanks G, I appreciate the rating! I will check out the crew you mentioned. Sounds dope. SP |

| I agree with the boss man. Your chord prog is always on point. Idk how you come up with these melodies that are simple but differentiate enough to keep the listener well enveloped into the track but you do it track after track. Another smooth quality tune in the books!! reviewed on: 2013-03-12 09:29:18 |
| (response from artist) Hi GtheG. Thank you very much for your review and rating. I mostly first play what I program into the computer on my midi-keyboard (Keystation 88es) connected to my Roland JV2080 synthesizer or a virtual piano plugin (Pianissimo) or synthesizer plugin (Synth1, Sylenth1, V-Station) on the computer. I first by play make the chord progressions as harmonous as they can be, and by play also try the melody with it, sometimes the melody comes later in the process. Sometimes I try to create multiple chord progressions / schemes to use throughout a song, before I start entering the data in the computer. Most of the times I also write down on paper which chords I used. This tune is slightly inspired on the \"one-note samba\" or \"samba de uma nota so\", having 4 chords with 1 significant tone in common. Please to hear that you like this tune, thank you for your compliments. Stay tuned! |

| Brass adds some proper epic flavor I haven't heard in a dance tune in a while! Dig the rim cuts chillin around in the back. 2:30 the beat changes up all of a sudden but the melody explodes with color there. It was getin really repetitive till that point dropped. This style is wild man. Nicely donerz. reviewed on: 2013-03-12 09:22:16 |

EatMe - 2013 - remix contest winner on eatme.pro/2013 by EatMe |
| Blissful initial vibe as usual. Kick seems panned slightly to the right and the piano to the left but im sure with your skill level in mind you did that on purpose haha. Breakdown is luxurious. Pad glides the track back into the groove greatly. Triplet bass groove vibes well with the off beat piano chords. I would be nice to hear how the track would sound with some chaining on the bass and and chords during the main chorus so the drums(kick mainly) can shine a little more. The master also sounds a bit muffled in comparison to other tracks alike. Thats the only simi bad thing i found in this tune. Everything else is right on time playa. What do you master your tracks with? At any rate, another juicy jam man. Love your heavenly tunes! reviewed on: 2013-01-10 05:37:22 |
| (response from artist) Hai GtheG. The kick is absolutely centered, maybe the stereo expander makes it sound a little off center, but when i look at the wave file of the kick track it seems to be equally loud on both left and right channels. The kick is a mono sample, and I have not panned the channel. The piano should be panned as a real piano from players position, which means the lower notes are a bit more panned to the left. This track was mastered directly within my sequencer software (DAW) Renoise. Behind all filters, equalizers and effects on individual channels I used an exciter, compressor, bus compressor, exciter, stereo expander, BassLane plugin to make the bass mono, and a maximizer (hard limiter) on my master channel. Thank you very much for your good review and your rating. |
IT´S G-NO-MY-SIR by GENOMIZER |
| Dig the throwback house beat jamin down. The vocals are pretty cool they sounds like they were recorded on a bad microphone. Really dig the beat it self but the high ends on the hats, vocals, and shakes are extremely high. So high that are distorted. Alot of really cool elements in this one. It needs alot of mix work down on it thou. Thanks for clearing up the pronunciation of your name lol. Keep on truckin homie. reviewed on: 2013-01-10 03:31:37 |
