I like this and I don't need to get over analytical with my reason, It's different in a good way and I'm glad you have chosen to try Breaks within the ambient style instead of Glitch Tech Minimal style, Please carry on, as I'm fed up of Glitch anything, was once cool but now and over used and cliched idea, also destroying any coheirent factors in the tracks, I like the fact you don't make this broken 'Boards Style' to disturbed it's trippy in a nice way...Check out 'Portal' on My Space if you can...

| (response from artist) Hmm... I still think glitch can be used as a sort of technique, but yes you're right it's been rendered cliched as a style by trigger-happy effects maniacs who sometimes forget that it's a song. Glad you liked it. |

And I agree with the previous review, this track has great emotion. and is well arranged. I dont know you public status apart from this profile, but for an amateur musician this is very good stuff. I can see this track is from 2005 so I would like to hear what your do'in now as the style is the closest thing to my first attempts, at the moment, I know what to say about my own efforts now and they would echo allong the lines 'if this is the style, then set it.' but when things start to get a bit noise driven, are we talking about a different style, I fell their could have been some tinkering going on with some delay on the drums and the base should have been a little wider and slower on the release, but the main negative is where the track starts to include and conclude at the same time. 'basic dance track or Ambient'? however you can get your own back at checking some of my tracks as I would value your review, I reckon you've got lots of talent and I will be checking out more of your tracks soon... First thing that comes to mind is, you obviously have musical abllity and that comes through on this track, I like the fact that it's somewhere different but I do wonder weather the drums are a bit harsh for the style you set, I'm not going to get technical as I'm fairly new to music production myself, and this is allways difficult, as with all new artists.
