First thing I noticed is how badly I wanted to hear a variation in the beat and bass line. But mentally blocking that out allowed me to enjoy the majestic soundscape created by the piano and the synth which I found myself sonically seeking refuge in. I think this track could jump out of it's current repetitive mediocre approach and into something much greater than it currently is, if as much time was spent fine tuning a more melodic beat and a much more expressive bass line as you spent on the piano and synth lines (that is if you played them yourself). very beautiful atmosphere, mellodies. quite a basic beat but it works here. all instruments together create a great harmony and atmospheric feel here, the only complaint would be that it has no ending, but overally - great work. (Posted on: Mar 31, 2008)
