This track was good but has the potential to be excellent. I found a track like this should be short in length because I heard all the basic elements in under a minute. Your piano is over powering the rest of the track so EQing would probably help this track out. I like the idea or the feel of the track, but it is too repetitive it sounds like one long verse and you cannot tell where the hook would come in. Word up kid, I be gettin all P. Diddy on yo ass criticisizing and whatnot. Intro be tight azz, flow is like word son. The flow like liriks, straight killin, this track caught me illin, but I'm chillin, so some rhymes of knowldege I be spillin. Track like word kid, like word, I be all up in it to win it, ebony key flow, dj spin it. Mad rhyme droppin is what you need son, like one, puttin pressure on it like a wound, what... The idea is good, but it needs work on a few areas. Mainly I think you need to master it properly and make the elements blend better. That, and you need to work on the beat, it sounds pretty generic, you'd probably be better off using samples of real drums, this sounds very "drum machine", and doesn't go well with the more organic sound that the piano gives.

Anywho, this sounds like a total butchering, but it isn't. The track is pretty good, and the pads are great! Keep it up! (Posted on: Jul 28, 2007)

Good start, I think you must work on piano sound more and use some FXs and effects. Good beats specially about kick it's better than snare. Melody is the best part and work needs a vocal to be completed. Good PAD in back ground... and the best part is the bass line... There is an effective vocal in the end, not good idea.
