I'm kinda confused. I like the track alot actually, but switches pace and elements and I'm kinda left guessing at the mood you're going for here.
The bells at about 2:00 are supercool, love those. And the mastering and sound quality is great, use of pads is great. I'd just prefer it to stick more with one theme, does that make sense?
Anywho, sounds great, I'd bump it to 9.5 if I'd see more continuity in it :) (Posted on: Jul 28, 2007)

(response from artist) The end of this Mp3 is actually the beginning of a new song. I am kind of confused about your review because I would say my phrasing and structure would be strongest and my mastering on the other hand limited. Your probably not used to the beat coming back like that at about 3:20. That was a very desired affect. The song does have 1 underlying them, I just hate having every trance song having the exact same lay-out. I am intrigued by the different responses I am getting from the artists on this website. Alas, however I must disagree with your remarks involving the structure of the song...I love the structure and No matter how many people are going to tell me what they expect I will give them something they don't!!!

banza's review: good this good that, good here, good there... is that the only thing you wanna hear??? well maybe YOU should open your eyes and read that i recognise this standard fruityloop drumloop, and don't lie cause i've doublechecked it! I gave you a honest review dude, so don't get pissed and give me revenge review like you did on "luna beach", because a 3.5 for originality isn't very friendly also... same like you say my melodies suck and you hate them... sounds like you are angry at me... The only thing i call negative in here is the drumloop and the little bit too raw sounds... other than that i say COOL bassline, GOOD vibe, NICE ideas. so stop whining and be happy that you even get a review these days... (response from artist) i know its a FL drumloop dude, I didn't even try to deny it-so what are you talking about. Should I feel lucky that you said good things about my music? Thank you. I appreciate it. I'm I angry? No. Just think of Simon Cowell. If I don't like a song i'm going tell you why and I'm going to give it a rating which I think the particular song deserves. I know you have better material so maybe you can get out of la-la land and realize that your not a professional just like the rest of us. ps. about the drum loop, I was explaining that if you didn't use FL, you wouldn't know. I added various other percussion to the loops as well. By the way I am cheap. I have no money and I'm going to collage, now i'll go back to my 4 year old computer and compose music which chops when the cpu gets to high. have a nice day!

standard fruityloops drumloops are ok, but change them please.... it's a bit cheap... You've left all the sounds a bit too raw in here.... not edited enough.... bassline is cool. it has a good vibe! You got the nice ideas worked out here but i got the feeling it could had been better man! First time i hear your music... i like it, but too bad about that drumloop... overal nice project here! I can tell it's rough, but it has a good start on the mix...real good. A little more separatin of instruments would be nice. Nice beats. Pan some stuff to get a good stereo field feel. Good FX and sounds...nice synths i hear coming in softly. Very nice bassline. I like the two level kick...high and low...it's good. Good break, nice transition. I like the synths...but it's hard to tell which one is the melody synth... Good pad...a little loud imo...tone it down just a little...so it supports and doesn't drown it out. It's building now... 3:29 now...back in the beat. Good stuff...nice reverse beats...well placed... Nice simple melody synth in the background. Good bouncing synth coming in. This is chill man...i'm expecting another break and a build into the final melody climax... Ahhh..finally, theres the melody synth...in the second break now... Kind of wish you had introduced elements of this melody sooner...to build anticipation...but the synth is nice. Would like a little more body to it... Good transition...like the reverse build...but i feel like the overall build could have been a little more climatic...fast fast drums...sweeping FX, still, nice mix so far, and very interesting to listen too. Good work here. Keep working on it and polish it up for the final mix. Will be good, look forward to hearing it. 8.5 for better than great...would have given it a 9 expect for it not being the final mix.... Peace. -Banza (Posted on: Jul 23, 2007)
