Video: New Fatboy Single Wonderful Night

Music News

Fatboy Slim announced this week his second single from his latest album 'Palookaville'. The laid back track has a mellow hook with vocals from Lateef of Blackalicious. Check out the video here.

As you'll see, the video for Wonderful Night is very Fatboy-ish. The song features vocals by Lateef of Blackalicious. A catchy song, and the transformation is unique; it was directed by first-timer Jon Watts. The promotions claim its "Singing In The Rain meets American Werewolf In London." There are a few funny parts to look out for.

Fatboy Slim has remixed Wonderful Night as well. The single features both a house mix from Fatboy but also a full-on rock interpretation. Additional remixes are supplied by Brazilian drum 'n' bass maestro DJ Marky and hip hop heavy hitter Chief Xcel.

You know what sucks? This single just came out. I, just today, heard this song on a cell phone commercial here in the states. Now who thinks Americans are greedy? I don't think I've ever seen a single go to commercial license that fast before.
