Tiesto + Mickey Mouse = Euro Trash
TweetPosted by Michael Bordash on Thursday, February 17 2005
Someone at Disney must have parked a dump truck load of cash in front of Tiesto's house. Tiesto agreed to perform a concert at the unfortunate Euro Disney. Details here.
Debt-laden Euro Disney is grasping at straws trying to lure anyone to the troubled theme park, even booking the #1 DJ in the world, Tiesto. It is surprising to us that Tiesto would have his name associated with this debacle after all the recent news reports of a capital bail-out and plummeting share prices. For those interested, details are as follows:
Disneyland Resort Paris is launching "Space Mountain : Mission
2". This new mission sends riders to the farthest reaches of space to discover the mysteries of the universe. On April 16th, Tiesto will
celebrate the launch with a live concert in the park. During this concert, Tiesto will perform a re-mix of the "Space Mountain : Mission 2" soundtrack, as well as performing songs from his own library.
After Disneyland Park closes its doors for regular guests, it will re-open
especially for Tiesto fans from all over Europe. The concert will get under way with a set from one of France's top DJ's, Bob Sinclar. Then, from an especially designed stage at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Tiesto will play for about 3 hours complete with special effects, lasers, lights, fireworks and guest performances. More information can be had at TiestoatDisney.com.
Given Tiesto's popularity, perhaps this is just what is needed to boost attendence to the park.

| I got Booted out of Latin class after only 3 weeks. Probably because I told the headmaster that it was a waste of my bloody time learning this stupid out of date language, which isn't a good thing to say to a Jesuit Priest. Unfortunetly I was moved into the Business Studies class with a prick of a teacher who I dreamth of killing on a day to day basis, but on the bright side he fell off a mountain breaking his arm and bothh legs so we didn't have to put up with him for four months. Ahh School Days, how I miss em. Posted on 2005-08-16 01:38:52 by Nelo |
| I've never been to disneyworld/land. I have no idea what its all about. My childhood was spent memorizing the 5 Latin noun declensions. Dominus, Domini, Domino, Dominum, Domino, Domini, Dominorum, Dominis, Dominos, Dominis. Exclusing the Vocative of course. Over and over and over and ... Posted on 2005-08-16 01:38:52 by michael |
