The Prodigy Hospital Remix Pack Out Now
TweetPosted by Michael Bordash on Friday, October 16 2009
Take me to the Hospital remixes released.
The Prodigy have bundled the original and remixes of "Take me to the Hospital" including versions from Subfocus, Rusko, Adam F and Horx and a remix from Josh Homme and Liam Howlett. The original "Take me to the Hospital" is classic Prodigy, no real surpises here. Purists will appreciate the attachment to core. The remixes however really build upon the basics Prodigy put forth.
In fact, the Subfocus remix would be, in my mind, what The Prodigy should have come up with if they progressed their sound over the past decade. This particular remix is so damn cool I think it could go much further than the original. Hard driving, brain splitting with a unique triplet sequence that makes you want to pick up your bfg9000 and do some real damage. Bring em on.
The "Loser" remix really gets going around 1:23 and makes for a decent selection for a club playlist.
Pick up the remixes on iTunes.
