The Love Parade Finally Returns to Berlin

The largest party in the world finally returns to Berlin after two years. Also, some details on Paul Van Dyk's party the night before.

After two years of political struggles and financial problems, The Love Parade has a new sponsor and is ready to return to Berlin in full force on July 15, 2006. This year there will be a special voting area where fans will decide on the DJs to perform at the event.

The focus of this year's Love Parade is on the international music scene. Much like the parades of year's past, the 2006 event will feature series of floats hosting some of the best DJs and artists from around the world. The parade is free for the public and attendence is expected to surpass events of previous years.

In related news, Paul Van Dyk will host his party the night before called "Love From Above". The party might take place at Columbia Halle, however we don't know for sure, and will post an update when more information becomes available.

Yeah but as Bendis said... many ppl that come from the wrong reasons... EXIT has almost the same amount of ppl, but with way better intension...
...And Twelve, I think you should come to EXIT, fun is garantied ;) ...alot of British ppl ware there last EXIT, and since this year there's no Glastobury, there should be even more... :D

As a reporter I think you'd find the love parade expressly interesting. Lots of craziness when there are that many people in one place.

I don't like love parade, too much ppl in one place, too much ppl who isnt there to listen the music, its comercial thing, my pick would be EXIT festivar rather then Love parade.
