Defected Records' Ten Years of House Music

You wouldn't think to use the words "thriving" and "record label" in the same sentence these days. Defected Records have broken the mold. Under the leadership of label chief Simon Dunmore, Defected is a thriving record label.

Defected Records has been at the forefront of the House music scene for over a decade. Founded in 1999 by Mr. Dunmore, the label perseveres and continues to evolve their genre making them a global household name for the House heads.

To mark the 10th anniversary, a new 15-minute short film, narrated by Mr. Dunmore, has been produced. The video looks back over the label’s 10 year history focusing on the artists that helped define the label, legendary club nights and the rise of Defected's "In The House" series. The video will be nostalgic for most of us and clearly an education for the newcomers.
