The Black Eyed Peas rocked the Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show with a mix of their best hits, opening with "I Got a Feeling," and following with "Boom Boom Pow," "Pump It" and "Let's Get it Started." The Peas were joined on the field by dancers dressed in white jump suits with neon lights that changed color during the performance.

The Peas also brought some guests along. The first being Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, who emerged from beneath the stage to join Fergie in a perfoamce of Guns' famous song, "Sweet Child o' Mine." Shortly after, Usher dropped out of the scoreboard and onto the stage for a quick rendition of his hit "Omg." Finally, during the Peas' hit single "Where is the Love," the crowd of 100,000 joined in by waving glow sticks that were provided before the game. They also played a few seconds of ripped-from-deadmau5 The Time (Dirty Bit).

What did you think of this year's halftime show?

I haven't heard one person say it was good. What was worse was Christina butchering the national anthem.

I managed to endure the entire traumatizing performance. Although I was immediately cognizant that the The Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show was going violate my entire spectrum aesthetic principles, I did not turn away from this insulting spectacle. While one day I may regret that I do not have those precious minutes to live over again, it was a necessary evil to experience for one reason: it allowed me to properly re-caliubarte my cultural barometer to accommodate for new all time lows perpetrated by those that control mass consumerism.
