Moby's Area2 Kicks Off July 28 With DJ Tiesto

Carl Cox, Tiesto, John Digweed, & others join the lineup of Moby's eclectic Area2 tour. The event organizers have firmed up its summer itinerary as well as a few additional acts.

This year's edition of the rock/hip-hop/electronic tour will kick off July 28 near Washington, D.C., and hit 12 cities through an Aug. 16 date near Seattle.

In addition to the previously reported acts David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, and, of course, Moby (allstar, April 10), Area2 has now confirmed John Digweed, Carl Cox, DJ Tiësto, DJ Dan, DJ Tim Skinner, and the Avalanches for the tour. More acts are expected to be announced soon.
