Moby, John Digweed, Benny Benassi Confirm Ultra.NY 2006

Junkie XL, Boris and 2MANYDJS have also confirmed. Tickets on sale from August 23.

Ultra.NY returns to the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park on Friday September 22, 2006. This is the second annual event co-sponsored by Ultra Music Festival (from Miami fame) and Ultra Records. Joining Moby and Digweed at this outdoor festival will be Soulwax Nite Versions (2ManyDJs live), Junkie XL (live), Benny Benassi, Boris and David Waxman. The entrance, located at 69th St. and Fifth Ave, will open at 4:30 pm and close at 10:00 pm.

Much of the Ultra.NY 2005 festival was riddled with bad luck, including rain, sound problems, and inept/rude security & staff (read our review of Ultra.NY 2005). I doubt you'll see the likes of Oakenfold, MYLO and Timo Maas this year. Last years Chemical Brothers headlining performance actually saved the day.

We trust Ultra.NY has learned lessons from last year which will help make 2006 a more enjoyable experience for all.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Just givin' ya shit for it. The Trocadero in Philly will always hold a special place in my heart, just like Ultra does in yours.
