Final days of The King of Pop.
October 28th was the official release date of the documentary film "This Is It", documenting the last days of Michael Jackson's life while leading up-to his scheduled performance at the O2 arena in London. Jackson sadly passed away from cardiac arrest eighteen days before his first scheduled performance.
The 2-disc soundtrack released on the same date as the film contains remastered versions of some of Jackson's best known hits which are all featured in the movie. The tracks appear on the album in the same order as they appeared in the movie. The final track "This Is It" featured at the end of disc one is a new unreleased track played during the film's closing credits.
Disc two features early demo versions of classics "She's Out Of My Life", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", and "Beat It" along with a spoken word poem "Planet Earth". The 2-disc set comes complete with a 36-page commemorative booklet with exclusive photos from Jackson's O2 rehearsal.
