Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow took the stage with singer Cee Lo Green on last night's episode of Saturday Night Live. Pop culture fans will immediately recognize the connection between the two: Paltrow recently performed Green's smash hit "Forget You" during her guest appearance on TV's Glee.
In one of last night's memorable skits that references Green's song, Paltrow took the stage playing a music exec who rattled off the words "forget you" in her sentences, subbing for what would have been expletives. Green made an appearance in the sketch as himself and reacts negatively to the FCC's attempt to squash his song. Paltrow appeared in several sketches throughout the night. Once on the 1964 “Secret Word” game show, portraying a clueless socialite guest competing against fellow panelist Mindy (Kristen Wiig), and with a German accent, she also played a not-so-keen-on-current events Heidi Klum auditioning for the co-host spot on CNN's "Parker Spitzer."
The next episode of SNL will air on Jan. 29 with guest stars Jesse Eisenberg and Nicki Minaj.
