| Deep Dish, what to say, just Say hello. I love them, Flashdance, Dellerium-inocente DD remix, i got no words for them. Posted on: 2005-12-26 06:40:49 |
| i agree , there are alot of superb productions that went unnoticed this year and even though im a die-hard fan of Deep Dish, "say hello" seemed mediocre in comparison to their other projects. Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, to me just extremely commercialized names right now on the market for which people can familiarize with outside of the electronica genre...all great artists and very talented, but i dont think the list was generated by devoted fans of the industry as Twelve pointed out. . good luck to all the artists though ; ) Posted on: 2005-12-14 20:04:35 |
| yer, i wanted to say the same thing but i didnt want to piss on everyones deep dish parade. that list for best single is shit, 'mandy - body language' blows every other track out of the water. cant complain with the thin white juke remix of that killers track. whats with lcd soundsystem and fatboy slim being on the list, fatboy slims last album was unlistenable in my opinion, so bad. i hate lcd soundsystem so i havent heard their album, that daft punk is playing at my house track is a piss take to electronic music if thats in the list of best tracks. this year has been awesome for underground dance tracks and i think that list was compiled by people who arent involved in dance music. the fact that the daft punk album got slated by the critics shows you how bad this list is (i didnt think it was too bad, individually the tracks were ok, as a collective i could have put track one on loop for an hour and i wouldnt know the difference) ive heard loads of better albums this year, slam's & alex smoke's too name a couple. lcd soundsystem, will you guys just fuck off! | The list for best singles is a little... ummm... shitty... but there are soo many cats in the game that need some respect... so getting the cats in the forefront a little juice is nice.. i just hope one day some of the more REALLY FUCKING AWESOME tracks that just take people by surprise make it up there... those tracks are just kind of...
