Emmy award winning make-up artist Kylie Bell filed suit in LA Superior Court. The suit claims she was raped by Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus) in the dressing room after a January 2003 taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
According to TheSmokingGun.com, the suit claims she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Snoop and four members of his crew. Bell is seeking $25 million and additionally names ABC, Jimmy Kimmel Live and the Walt Disney Company as defendents.
Bell claims that she told family members about the sexual assault, but they told her to not make a police report due to Snoop's "gang" affiliations. Four months later, Bell apparently contacted the Kimmel program and told them what had happened and was going to call police.
Bell further claims ABC indirectly began paying for her living expenses. It was when they ceased payments that Snoop took over payments and opened negotiations with the woman's attorneys. Bell alleges they entered into mediation last October, but unable to reach settlement.
On January 6, nearly a month after Snoop filed an extortion complaint against Bell, the two sides tried to settle with a payment. This settlement broke down on January 18th and ten days later, Bell filed this $25 million lawsuit.
